Hotel Operations & Retail
The Hotel Operations & Retail department covers a variety of areas on board. Our friendly Front of House team are the face of customer service, dealing with a wide variety of queries, foreign exchange and interacting with guests on a daily basis. Other teams include the Finance, Administration, Loyalty & Cruise Sales and the Shore Excursions team. As our ships visit 225 destinations across 90 countries, it’s easy to see why we need a dedicated team of people to make sure we have a fantastic local knowledge of all the different ports.
Housekeeping
Our Housekeeping roles include Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Deck Housekeepers, Cabin Stewards, Tailor, Laundry Staff, Florist and Housekeeping Assistants, all reporting in to the Housekeeping Manager. The team works to ensure the guest and crew areas of our ships are maintained to the high standards expected of P&O Cruises and Cunard. Only the highest standards of public health and housekeeping standards will be accepted. Cabin Stewards are often one the first members that guests interact with and have a real opportunity to create an unforgettable experience.
Food & Beverage
As you can imagine, our Food & Beverage team is one of the largest on board. In fact, on every one of our ships, you’ll find more than 100 chefs – ranging from trainee to executive level.
Whatever level you join us at, you’ll play a big role, from producing mouth-watering meals to serving up deliciously refreshing cocktails. This department works around the clock to ensure our guests receive a world class service, award winning cuisine and memorable experiences at all our bars, restaurants and lounges.
As well as entry level positions for waiting staff, chefs and hotel assistants, you’ll also find lots of management and supervisory opportunities too.
Entertainment
Entertainment is everything at Carnival UK. It’s diverse. It’s fun. And above all, it’s extraordinary. In this team, you’ll find everything from entertainment/social hosts and DJs, to musicians and performers. But none of the magic can happen without the amazing work of our Production team. From operating the lighting and sound desks to creating fantastic effects, they really know how to bring the entertainment to life.
Youth
When school’s out, it’s time to have fun and explore the world! And what better way to do it than on one of the world's most exciting floating playgrounds?
Our Youth programme is expertly run by a dedicated team of youth staff, Assistant Youth Manager and Youth Manager. Join the team, and your role will be to keep our younger guests (6 months to 17 years olds) active, happy and safe on their big adventure.
