Chef De Partie (multiple vacancies) - Cameron House Resort, Alexandria

(Full time, Circa £18k per annum dependant on outlet and experience)

(5 days out of 7, varying shifts depending on outlet)

Due to the increase in demand at our Five Star Luxury Resort Cameron House Resort we currently have opportunities for an enthusiastic and ambitious Chef De Partie to join our teams within our 2 AA Rosette Cameron Grill Restaurant,  Boathouse Restaurant and our Main Kitchen. 

As Chef de Partie at the Cameron House you will be working alongside our established and talented kitchen brigade giving you the opportunity to further your own skills and career whilst delivering exceptional food to our hotel guests and restaurant visitors. With a variety of outlets here at the Resort there is great opportunity for career progression.

As Chef De Partie you will manage all aspects of your section from food preparation and delivery to the organisation of due diligence and Health and Safety. You should be passionate about food and have the desire to use your skills and experience to coach and develop Commis Chefs within your brigade to ensure they reach their maximum potential. 

You will be expected to work to the Kitchens high standards and maintain a workload rate that is sufficient to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen operation and the avoidance of interruptions to service of the restaurant..

You should be versatile in your approach to all aspects of Kitchen organisation, able to identify and take action when changes need to be made to improve efficiency of service delivery. Excellent communication organisational skills are key in this role

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required

  • To be passionate about every aspect of food and cooking
  • To enjoy the buzz of being busy
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Determined and Enthusiastic
  • Proven track record as a successful supervisor in a similar role, and ideally NVQ level 2/3 or similar level food preparation qualification
  • Strong training skills and a desire to pass on your knowledge and skills to the junior team members
  • CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene qualified would be an advantage
