Assistant Front Office Manager

1 x Fixed Term until March 2018, £18-21k per annum dependant on experience)

As Assistant Front Office Manager you will support the Front Office Manager in leading the team to handle check in and check outs in a manner that leaves a great first and last impression on our guests. Our guests are our main priority therefore as part of the Assistant Front Office Manager duties, it will be your responsibility to ensure that all members of staff are fully trained in order to provide our guests with everything they need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for the running of the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager and will support in the management of the team and operation of the Reception Desk to achieve high standards of individual guest care and agreed business goals.

Skills Required

  • Ideally you should have some experience at Assistant Front Office Manager level, however we will consider candidates who have a strong supervisory background and are looking to make the next step in their career.
  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive an distinctive
  • To be smart and well presented
  • Good standard of numeracy, literacy
  • Sound operational knowledge and experience of IT and Front Office Systems
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
  • To be able to recognise and develop future stars
  • To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 7am and 11pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays
