Vacancy- Assistant Restaurant Manager - £19k-£21k dependant on experience

Positions available in Cameron Grill Restaurant and Boathouse Restaurant

As Assistant Restaurant Manager at Cameron House you will support the Restaurant Manager to lead, inspire and motivate the team to consistently give exceptional levels of service at all times. As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be expected to drive and maintain a high professional standard in relation to managing and developing your team, exceeding guests expectations and ensuring the effective running of the restaurant.

Operational duties will include:

  • Controlling costs and revenue in relation to payroll and operating costs
  • Handling any customer comments or issues
  • Ensuring policies and procedures and adhered to including standards of cleanliness and health and Safety Legislation
  • Ensuring all team members are up to date with required training
  • Being responsible for managing and striving to improve team members performance, timekeeping and attendance
  • Deputising for the Restaurant Manager when required

Skills/ Experience Required

  • Proven track record in a similar role at management level
  • To have the experience and ability to develop and motivate each member of your team to maximise their potential
  • To know how to maximise sales opportunities through up-selling whilst delivering a five star customer service to our guests
  • Have excellent standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Have excellent operational knowledge and IT Skills
  • Have an excellent level of spoken and written English
  • Have great organisational skills and enjoy being busy
  • To be smart and well presented
  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
  • To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 7am and 11pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays
