Resorts Reservations Co-ordinator - Cameron House Resort

Cameron House is a luxury five-star hotel located on the South West Shores of Loch Lomond. Resort Reservations Co-ordinator

Full time: 40 hours per week. £16,124 p/a

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7, this will require weekend work. Shift times may vary with the earliest start time being 8am and latest finish 7pm.

Reporting to the Reservation or Revenue Manager, as Reservations Co-ordinator you will be part of the team responsible for formulating and implementing revenue management strategies for the hotel accommodation order to maximise revenue potential and increase competitive share. The Reservations Co-ordinator is responsible for taking group rooms bookings via email and over the telephone, providing a knowledgeable and attentive approach to customers. Also ensuring all details including special requests are accurately recorded into our systems is crucial to ensure our operations team are aware of our customer’s individual needs.

As Reservations Co-ordinator you will work with 3rd party websites ensuring the correct information on availability and rates have been loaded. You will be committed to ensuring we beat the competition so you will conduct frequent competitor analysis to make sure that our pricing and selling strategy reflects market demand and the hotel competitive share. You will support your Manager in compiling the financial forecast on a weekly basis for accommodation and assist in compiling the annual room’s budget

Skills / Experience Required

  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (365), IT Front Office systems and web based booking systems (Delphi knowledge an advantage)
  • You’ll be able to interpret and analyse market information such as Hotstats/Hotelligence/Rateview
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
  • To be smart and well presented
