Spa Reservationist / Receptionist- The Carrick Spa at Cameron House

40 hours per week, (NMW/NLW)

The Carrick Spa is part of our Luxury five-star resort Cameron House and located 2.5 miles along the road from the main house hotel. Between the Carrick Spa and our Beauty Bar within the Hotel we offer an exceptionally wide range of treatments and packages. Our Spa boasts 17 treatment rooms, beauty bar with 2 treatment rooms and hair station. We offer a wide range of facilities for our guests to enjoy including roof top pool, hydro pool, swimming pool and a range of 7 different thermal experiences

Here at the Carrick we pride ourselves on exceeding our guest’s expectations both in the service they receive from our team throughout their visit and the high standard of the facilities we have to offer. You will be the first impression of the Spa and therefore it is vital that you provide a 5* service for all our guests.

As Spa Reservationist you will be required to:

• Answer the phone and take reservations
• Upsell spa treatments
• Creating and sending confirmations
• Responding to email enquiries
• Diary Management
• Additional jobs as and when required

  As Spa Reservationist you will also be required to assist on Reception, duties would include:

• Checking guests in and out
• Assisting with customer queries
• Giving guests guided tours of the Spa
• Cash Handling
• Taking payments
• Opening/Closing of Building

  Shifts vary to accommodate business needs with shift times typically between 8am as an earliest start time and 8pm as a latest finish time.

  Skills/ Experience Required

• To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
• To take a real pride in being clean, neat and tidy
• To enjoy being busy
• Good level of spoken English and strong telephone skills
• Good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
• To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 6:30am and 10pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays

  Due to the location of the Carrick own transport would be beneficial
