About the role...
You’ll be responsible for serving our guests within the Conference & Banqueting venue. As well as making memorable experiences for our guests the role will also include the setting up of function rooms, preparing break out areas, serving refreshment breaks, and refreshing rooms throughout the day.
The role will sometimes include late finishes / early starts especially when our guests are celebrating something special, or if our clients start with a breakfast meeting, so flexibility is important.
About you...
We’re looking for a friendly and bubbly person with a positive attitude and who makes our guests smile. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and have a passion and willingness to learn. You will have good communication skills and an excellent command of the English language, and it will be advantageous (but not essential) if you’ve worked within a food and beverage / conference and banqueting background previously.

The BCEC offers a versatile mix of event spaces ideal for conferences, exhibitions, board meetings, award dinners, networking and charity events. Most of our function space is fully-flexible and interconnecting and can comfortably accommodate a large scale conference for up to 1,000 delegates with ample breakout space for seminars, training sessions and refreshments.
