About the role ...

Assistant Bar Managers are responsible for making sure that their bar is run efficiently, and that customers are satisfied with the quality of service they receive.  It’s essential that you are polite and courteous when you welcome guests into the bar and restaurant areas, and is important that you are able answer queries or complaints from customers. It’s extremely important that you lead the team to ensure they provide polite and efficient service at all times to maintain an exceptional standard of service and quality.

About you ...

You will have had previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or similar and have the ability to display excellent customer service skills in fast paced environments. You will also have excellent knowledge of bar service, good financial awareness with a full understanding of liquor revenue streams and cost control. Applicants must be available to work any five out of seven days on a rota basis, so flexibility is required. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, motivated, good team players, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail as well as experience in leading and training a team in order to deliver outstanding quality and service.
