We are a family owned business with family values at our core. With a growing team and sites UK wide, we now need a flexible, dedicated and highly motivated Duty Manager at the Elmbank Hotel in York.
About the role…
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and flexible Duty Manager to be part of our team as a full-time member, willing to work late both early and late shifts, anywhere in between 6.45am to 23.00pm.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for running the hotel, dealing with customer enquiries, answering the phone and prioritizing tasks.
Other duties include keeping stock of the bar, banking and reconciliations, rate management, revenue generation and productivity, appraisals and staff development, management of rota’s, staff recruitment and training, handling complaints, health and safety, first aid and emergency situations, sales and marketing.
About you…
The successful candidate will be experienced in a fast paced hotel/hospitality setting. You must be a team player willing to take an active role in delivering an exceptional guest product while contributing to a positive working environment. You will also need to have strong management and leadership skills. Experience of reservation management systems is essential.
