About the role…

As Senior Reservations Coordinator you will manage the reservations team in the Reservations Managers absence. You will have an active part in ensuring that the team yield profitability with individual bookings and groups. You will also work closely with the revenue team and complete reports as required.

You will be providing a timely and professional reservations service and assist all related functions. You will be one of the first contacts our guests have with us so an excellent telephone manner is essential.

You will be responsible for responding to guest calls or enquiries about room reservations, to provide information and reserve rooms for guests coming to the hotel.

You will continue the arrival experience by ensuring clear communication with guests, obtaining all necessary information and providing the guests a room that meets their expectations. You will be well versed in promotions, events, pricing and sales strategy to meet the guest’s requests.

About you…

You will have good leadership skills to lead and develop the team and ensure the reservations function operates as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will need a good understanding of the hospitality industry and all areas of hotel revenue generation and contribution, excellent communication and organisation skills and a friendly but professional work ethic with initiative and solve problems.
