Dating back to 1693, The Redworth Hall Hotel is a magnificent Jacobean country house surrounded by landscaped gardens and enchanting woodland, yet just minutes from the A1. The Redworth Hall Hotel is secluded, tranquil and atmospheric. Easily accessible by road, it's ideally placed for exploring Durham and the North East, with its spectacular landscapes, grand stately homes and fascinating history.


About the role…
Hotel Operations Managers oversee the entire operation of the hotel. Operation include housekeeping, security, public relations, food service and bars, spa, conference, meeting and events, banqueting, reception and nights. It is the Operations Managers responsibility to deal effectively with customers, managers and staff while keeping the hotel running smoothly. A Hotel Operations Manager may have assistants or assign heads of departments to help manage the hotel. The Operations Manager will also create work schedules, be involved in recruitment of employees and ensuring effective training takes place across the hotel. Experience in a similar role is essential.


About you…
You must be able to react to any changing market conditions. You will be passionate about creating a positive working enviroment for all employees. Experience in decision making to achieve the highest ethical standards and deliver the very best guest experience. You will be able to build on the high standards currently in the hotel and maintain and improve the reputation that the hotel already holds in the local area. You will report directly to the General Manager and will have a proven track record in setting and achieving budgets, creating and back checking work schedules, ensuring the very best level of staff to meet the demands of the business. You will need to have the highest communication skills both written and verbal and have the ability to form excellent relationships across the business.
