We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and dedicated Banqueting Manager to join our team here at the Bvlgari Hotel London.

Reporting to the Director Food & Beverage, you will be working with a professional team leading all conference, wedding, private banqueting and events for the hotel. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and maintain at all times a professional approach in order to provide a high standard of service to customers. You will deliver an effective training and development program for the Private Events team to ensure that they meet their required standards and develop in their roles. The Private Events Manager offers an exceptional service delivery and use database of guest’s needs and to ensure that this information is used effectively in order to meet their particular expectation as well as to maintain up to date records on guest history and preferences. . You will have experience in hiring, training and evaluating back-of-the-house employees, conducting formal performance reviews with all staff to ascertain their performance, training needs and inspirations and to action those areas to retain and further develop these people. You will also be in charge of recruiting and managing the temporary staff for the banqueting team, manage the rotas, staff level and costing, and oversee the inventory (linen, tableware, equipment).

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate proven success in a leadership role, delivery of impeccable service and strong commercial acumen is essential for this position. To be successful in your application you will have already been a Banqueting Manager or similar in a boutique 5 star deluxe hotel.

 

To be successful in your application you will already have experience from within a luxury service environment along with an excellent understanding of the 5-star hospitality industry. You will be an impeccably presented individual who possesses excellent customer service skills with your ability to engage with our guests being one of your greatest assets.

 

We encourage a diverse workforce however you will be required to have a good level of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.
