Plumber Duty Manager - Minehead, Somerset

ROLE PURPOSE

Be responsible for leading your team to ensure you maintain and repair all aspects of plumbing and wet heating on resort. You will provide an environment that allows your team to perform at their best through high performance and high fulfilment and creating memories for our guests and gives our team opportunities of a lifetime. You will build relationships with Venue /Village Managers and help priorities work. You will drive standards to help us achieve Clean and Fault Free accommodation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and coaches the team's daily activities to ensure all areas of responsibility are covered
Takes ownership of shift and service delivery ensure consistent delivery of a quality Butlins experience in line with brand/venue guidelines
Confidently deals with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems
Monitor delivery of service level agreements and be proactive in arranging appropriate resource/support to ensure the guest experience is not impacted
Demonstrates and role models that you are committed to delivering a superior guest experience in everything that you do
Cover Duty Facilities Leadership cover as required
Liaise with external contractors and plan in work in order to reduce impact on team and guests
Responsible for the sprinkler checks and servicing of all related equipment

COMPLIANCE

Uses and produces weekly rota and 3-weeks in advance
Daily approval of Timesheets
Has a high level of operational knowledge specific to the area of expertise and shares this with Team Members, continually looking for better ways of working to delight our guests
Understands team engagement levels at all times, and works with Manager to identify opportunities to provide an engaging and fulfilling place to work
Demands the best of yourself and others to continually delight our guests
Monitor and coach on mobile working standards
Analyse performance reports and communicate / implement change on how we can continually improve
Ensure your team are trained to the latest regulations
Produce and work to a planned maintenance program to maintain assets and prevent breakdowns
Ensures compliance with relevant legislation, company and Health & Safety policies within your area of responsibility
Monitor team levels and be proactive in arranging appropriate resource that is reflective of the guest numbers and payroll budgets, escalate to Leaders where necessary

Essential:
Fully qualified Plumber
Demonstrable Leadership experience in managing a team

Desirable:
Good understanding of heating management with formal qualification
A formal H&S qualification
Facilities Management qualification (ILM or BIFM)
