Chef de Partie - Dartford

Responsible to:

Head Chef, Sous chef, Food & Beverage Manager

Main Duties:

Responsible for the entire food preparation for the golf course in the absence of the head chef/ Sous chef; manages kitchen co-workers, maintains excellence in quality and guest/member relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Company Kitchen Standards
  • Must be able to Work as a team member & alone
  • Follow the guidance of The Head chef or Sous chef and have input in new ways of presenting dishes
  • Must be able to enforce strict Health & Hygiene standards
  • Be able to Run a shift in the absence of Head or Sous chef
  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth & friendly Cooperation

Additional Responsibilities

  • To implement and support all company initiatives and programmes as requested

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Proven record of Chef De Partie  Experience of 2-3 years
  • Level 2 Food hygiene & allergens
  • Able to Multi task & work under pressure
  • Knowledge of food service
  • Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Self starter and motivator
  • Works with other departments to ensure efficiencies of operations.
  • Maintains an appropriate level of community/public affairs involvement to facilitate networking.
  • Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends.
  • Complies with Burhill Golf & Leisure Ltd Personnel Policies and Procedures

Working Conditions:

Shift pattern that will include weekends.
