Range Hospitality Team Leader - Dartford, Kent

Job Type: Full Time Permanent (32 Hours/week)

Salary: £16,685 Annum

RESPONSIBLE TO: Range Hospitality Manager 

MAIN DUTIES:

To work closely with the Driving Range team in running the operation of the Driving Range.  To supervise and assist co-workers ensuring delivery of service and facility standards, and the implementation of a structured programme of activity designed to maximise sales and profitability of the Range and F&B department. Learn aspects of the Range Hospitality Supervisors duties. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Health & Safety

  • Ensure a safe working environment by conforming to company Health and Safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all BGL company policies and procedures.
  • Keep up to date with all assigned training and compliance training on the BGL Academy.

Range Operation

  • The role will be in a ‘covered outdoor’ setting and will involve evening and weekend shifts.
  • Manage driving range service outlets with a hands-on approach in the absence of the Range Hospitality Supervisor, implementing range operating procedures to ensure customer safety and high presentation standards are achieved 24/7.
  • Work closely with Range Supervisors and other departments where necessary to ensure efficiency of operations and promptly resolve any issues that arise. 
  • Ensure that co-workers meet all high standards for performance, appearance, and service provision, determine assignments and division of responsibilities.
  • Maintain delivery of agreed service, cleaning and maintenance standards to meet customer expectations and assure repeat business.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures related to the operation of the Food and Beverage department are enforced and implemented appropriately. Including the highest possible quality of food service, sanitation, alcoholic beverage service, cash and credit card processing, till operations, stock control and health and safety.
  • Solicit and handle customer enquiries, comments, suggestions and concerns to provide answers or determine solutions. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Use ESP systems including the Elite Live App to ensure all F&B offerings are kept up to date and correct.
  • Assist in the training and development of new or less experienced co-workers.
  • Ensure hire clubs and ball quality is consistently high and that old balls are removed from circulation.
  • Ensure all customers are using the driving range safely whilst complying with the driving range policy on range balls.
  • To report any issues to maintenance. 
  • Assist with the daily range opening and closing procedures. 
  • To undertake any further duties as requested by the management.
