MARINE INTERNSHIP - MEXICO

Start / end dates: Multiple departure dates

Age limit: 18+

Do you have a passion for marine conservation and want to develop your skills as a PADI dive master? Are you lacking the relevant skills and qualifications to further your career in the dive or conservation industry? If so this internship is for you! Spend 24 weeks in the stunning Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico dividing your time between marine conservation and a 12 week work placement with a local dive school to complete your PADI Divemaster course.

  • 12 week dive training/ 12 week work placement
  • Airport pick up
  • Welcome meeting and local area orientation
  • Arrival orientation including health and safety briefing, first aid training, swimming test, dive training and an introduction into marine conservation.

Please note you will need to bring your own equipment e.g. wetsuit, fins, watch etc.

Qualifications

During the programme you will receive all the following recognised qualifications:

  • PADI Coral Reef Research Diver Distinctive Specialty
  • PADI Advanced Open Water
  • PADI Rescue Diver certifications
  • PADI Dive Master Certifications
  • First Aid and CPR training (Emergency First Response Certification)
  • Biological Survey Techniques
