Here at Brunning & Price we have an amazing opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our stunning new pub restaurant in Malvern which will be opening later this year. Whilst working for us you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £29,000 plus Tips and Benefits.

Brunning and Price is a collection of individual pub restaurants each with its own style and flavour.  We like to think we run informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Pub

The Plough and Harrow sits in the shadows of the Malvern Hills in Guarlford. We were pointed in it’s direction by a local who spotted our ‘tell us about a potential Brunning and Price pub near you’ plea and is now happily in receipt of our £5000 finders fee. A small price to pay we feel for the introduction to a pub that we think has great potential and was in need of saving and restoring into the local community.

Our plan is to work through the winter breathing life back into the old building, converting the house and adding a garden room to look over the stunning surroundings. If all goes well we will be open again in the late spring, ready to enjoy the summer months with a pint in hand. We are nearly there with the rennovation and will in the pub in the next two weeks ready to set up ahead of opening.

The Role

Are you an experienced Sous Chef with a real passion for quality fresh food?

As a Sous Chef you'll work across all areas of the kitchen and have the ability to confidently manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

Our Sous Chefs are involved in a range of duties including:

- Fresh food preparation
- Embracing our food culture and designing regularly changing menus
- Setting and reviewing GPs
- Managing wage targets
- Ordering
- Stock control
- Meeting food safety and cleaning standards
