Revenue Controller/Income Auditor - Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire

Full Time - Monday to Friday – 8.30 to 5pm with 30 minute unpaid break

Job Description

With the successful development of the Brocket Hall Estate and the much anticipated opening of Auberge du Lac, we are now looking for a Revenue Controller to join our Finance Department.

Job Purpose        

To ensure all income is correctly accounted for and posted in a timely manner

Job Tasks            

• Monitor and reconcile daily revenue from all outlets;
• Investigate discrepancies and post as required;
• Prepare and post daily revenue journals in EZ Suite;
• Ensure all receipts are banked and posted onto Sage;
• Raising and posting invoices once approved by FD (initially) including accommodation, sales and events and membership invoices;
• Effective credit control of accounts receivable;
• Prepare weekly report of +60 days debtors with action plan with FD (initially);
• To handle enquiries in relation to sales ledger and member account queries together with the FD (initially);
• Produce and e-mail out Members’ monthly statements once approved by FD (initially);
• Assist with month end tasks.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Good standard of education.

Work Related Experience

• Must be numerical with excellent attention to detail;
• Must have previous experience of sales ledger;
• Must have previous experience in credit control; 
• Previous cashier experience desirable;
• Must be computer literate with intermediate experience in Excel and advanced MS Office Mail Merging and Sage;
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills;
• Must have a professional telephone manner.
