Wedding Specialist/ Events

Built in the late 1880’s, this historic and elegant Victorian Hotel is a 9-minute walk from both the National Media Museum and the Alhambra Theatre. The Midland Hotel has 90 executive, premium and standard bedrooms to suit all guests needs.

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Wedding Specialist/ Events on to the team.

As Wedding Specialist/ Events, you will be required to:

• Develop sales strategies which include packages and pricing, maximise sales & revenue across all hotel facilities
• You will ensure that the Events taking place at the Hotel operate at an impeccable standard and encourage customer satisfaction.
• Perform sales calls to generate enquires
• Demonstrate great customer service to all guests
• Full-Time position, five days over 7 and must be able to work weekends

The successful candidate must be able to develop effective relationships with clients, agents, and the operational department within the hotel. Computer literacy is essential to this role. A passion for sales is vital, as are communication skills and thorough knowledge of hotel facilities. Experience in wedding sales is beneficial.
