“Boys Hall, a new boutique hotel housed inside a Jacobean manor house, will open late this summer following a careful restoration. Set amid three acres of gardens, the family-owned property features a 70-cover oak-beamed restaurant with two outside terraces, a wood-clad pub, multiple reception rooms and private dining spaces and 10 ensuite bedrooms.

 

Grade-II listed Boys Hall was originally built in 1616 and has been renovated under husband-and-wife team, Bradley and Kristie Lomas.

The restaurant will centre around seasonal, local produce and feature daily changing dishes which champion elevated takes on home-cooked favourites. We will be working with local vineyards and wine will become every much a focus…

 

The aim is to create the most memorising experience for all guests I our 70-seater hotel with terrace

 

We are looking for a Bar Manager who has natural creative flare, excellent wine knowledge is a must with experience of creating & developing menus.

 

YOU:

You will lead, mentor and coach your team to success You will have an incredible background in Restaurants with a great knowledge of wines You will have very high standards of Hospitality & customer service You have the natural flare of engaging with customers, ensuring that every detail is seen to You love to tell stories, explaining our menu, the history of the building and can confidently talk about our collection of wine You will have the patience & want to train your team and share your knowledge You will develop excellent relationships with suppliers in the local area You have the confidence to create interesting menus as well as presenting excellent classic cocktails You will understand the importance of great training, encouraging your team to grow and develop You have a positive outlook with a determined attitude to reach high standards and quality service WSET would be of an advantage
