are recruiting for a Learning & Development Partner to join the L&D team. This role partners with business and People leaders across our Haven parks to provide strategic and operational insight, knowledge, and expertise on learning, development, and skills development programmes. The L&D Partner consults with stakeholders to identify development needs and provides innovative, impactful solutions that equip our teams with skills and knowledge that drive high performance and business growth.
This role supports the creation and implementation of a robust skills strategy which delivers and develops a healthy pipeline of talented team across our park operations at all levels. The Learning & Development Partner is responsible for interpreting the needs of the business and supporting our teams through effective design and delivery of essential onboarding, compliance, job skills and behaviours to be fully effective in role.
 
Your opportunity:
- Lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of a suite of development programmes, workshops, virtual and face to face learning opportunities that create clear career pathways from the moment a new team member starts. ensuring that essential role specific skills can be developed in line with park requirements.
- Create specific skills programmes and initiatives to support aspiring leaders to develop the capabilities required to step up to managerial and leadership roles
- Plan and deliver team development activities which incorporate a variety of learning methodologies to ensure programmes equip them with the skills and capabilities required to embed a high-performance culture
- Ensure all aspects of learning and development are focused on inclusion and diversity to ensure accessibility for all team members.
- Work across the learning and development team to design, develop and build skills academies that support the onboarding and continued development of team.
- Collect and maintain programme metrics, data and MI on compliance and skills development plans, actions programme effectiveness. Demonstrate business impact / ROI
- Work alongside the wider Talent team to maximise the use of our LMS to ensure learning content is embedded into development pathways, is relevant to the role and is accessible to all team members
- Build engagement and alignment to our culture and values at all levels across the organisation and support all team members in ensuring that they demonstrate the desired behaviours consistently
- Lead on bespoke projects and initiatives to support onboarding, compliance, skills, leadership, and broader learning and development priorities across multiple divisions and channels
- Work with key stakeholders to develop intervention strategies that address identified skills and capability risks & identify opportunities, which will include career/personal development interventions for specific individuals/groups
- Carry out ongoing evaluation and improvement of learning and development activity in alignment with rest of the learning, inclusion and diversity, performance, talent, and engagement agenda. Supporting aligned impact and value.
- Work alongside the senior development partners to deploy innovative, scalable learning solutions that go beyond the classroom, including self-directed learning, technology-based learning, learning on the job, mentoring & coaching, with an emphasis on the 70:20:10 approach
- Create the communication, engagement and delivery roll out plans that will ensure that all team are trained to a standard across all parks, and everyone is aware of what is happening, when and why
- Create detailed activity plans and project documents to ensure all programmes and initiatives are delivered on time and within agreed SLAs.

About You:
- Vast understanding of content design and how to create blended delivery programmes e.g., for face to face, virtual and / or self-directed
- Excellent understanding of training methodologies, models, and theories
- A high level of knowledge of learning, leadership, and behavioural change principles; both current and future
- Knowledge of virtual collaboration tools e.g., Mentimeter and how they can be used to support learning
- Good knowledge of Teams functionalities in running group meetings and workshops (breakout rooms, screen sharing, polls, etc.)
- Have a strong L&D design background across a range of functions/sectors and be able to use key methodology to create and build content for all team and leadership roles
- Confident, articulate, and clear communication skills (verbal and written) with strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop strong relationships with cross departmental team members to enable collaboration and advice sharing
- Capable of overseeing multiple projects, proven project management experience with strong prioritisation, planning and problem-solving skills
- Skilled and confident advising and working collaboratively with senior and middle managers on a range of L&D Matters (e.g., competency frameworks, skills matrix, onboarding, capability analysis, job skills and leadership development).
- Strong relationship management skills (including the ability to persuade and be an advocate) and influence and personal credibility to establish effective working relationships within the organisation.
- Creating clear consistent communications targeted for different programmes, levels, and stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and uptake
- Strong learning and development experience to planning and coordinating key learning and development activity as well as designing and implementing new learning practice, strategies, and projects.
- Operated within a large fast-paced organisation, with proven experience of delivering culture change and ROI through skills development strategies
- Experience of partnering with third parties and of successful and influential stakeholder management - delivering tangible solutions in response to business needs.

Desirable Skills, Not Essential:
- Knowledge of emerging talent, early careers, and apprenticeship programmes
- Ability to use other software packages such as In-design, cahoot
- An understanding of digital learning platforms
- Accreditation and experience of in-house delivery of Psychometric Tools. Discovery Insights, Situational Leadership, Hogan, MBTI
- CIPD L5 qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience with facilitating and delivering blended learning solutions across emerging technologies and LMS platforms
