Purchasing Analyst

The Bourne purchasing team supports all three Bourne Leisure brands (Butlin's, Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels) as well as the central Support Centre functions. We consist of a team of 17 and are now looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join the team.

We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join the central Bourne Support purchasing team. The individual will need to possess:-

• Strong stake holder management skills to engage with the buyers and other business contacts
• Familiarity with the procurement process
• Excellent skills in developing reports from raw data from our purchasing systems utilising Excel and Access
• Strong analytical skills to work with buyers on spend and trend analysis, forecasts and tender evaluations
• Ideally we are looking for someone that has worked in a purchasing/procurement function, but would also consider a strong analyst with other relevant business experience

Responsibilities:

• Creating bespoke spend reports tailored to stakeholders' needs.
• Liaise with stakeholders to fully understand their recurring reporting requirements.
• Analyse and compare spend figures taken from different sources such as the accounting system (Unit4 Dream), Procure to Pay system (p2p) and supplier spend data.
• Assist other Purchasing team members with their sourcing projects
• Supplier Tender response analysis.
• Learn all of the different functionality of Coupa so it can be used more efficiently.
• Utilising Advanced Excel capabilities on a daily basis to create and edit reports, trackers etc. used by other team members.
• Ensuring all reports are updated regularly and work correctly.
• Improve the reports by adding functionality that may be useful based on stake holder feedback.
• Update the supplier commodity map saved on the SharePoint every month
• Data sent over from another team will be required to update this spreadsheet that is accessed by all users of Coupa
• Become the 'system expert' in Coupa and all new software implemented into the company that can be utilised by the purchasing team

System skills required:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel is a must combined with working with a procure 2 pay system.
• The ideal candidate would also have strong Microsoft Access & SharePoint skills and familiar with working with the Office 365 work-flow automation tools.
