Full-time (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday)

Blue Apple is an experienced independent contract caterer specialising in bringing a bespoke and tailored solution to our clients. We have a diverse range of customers and pride ourselves on delivering fresh food solutions created by happy teams.

We do simple sarnies really well, hospitality that’s heavenly, delectable fine dining and anything else in between is beautifully presented while always being, tasty and delicious. Quite simply, food is our passion.

We are looking for a enthusiastic Commis Chef based in London to join one of our busy deli contract.

This role would be ideal for an experienced Commis chef wishing to further develop his/her career or someone wishing to continue their training on our apprenticeship programme.

Key responsibilities are to:

• Produce food and levels of service that wow our customers
• Present and deliver our food offering in line with company standards
• Produce the food offer in line with budget requirements
• Comply with all health and safety and food safety regulations, processes and procedures
• Ensure stock is rotated properly and all food is stored in line with food safety guidelines
• Support the team to develop in their roles and continue to offer new and exciting food
• Work as part of the catering team supporting each other to deliver a great service

To be successful you will need to demonstrate an affinity with our values, a track record of providing great food in a fast-paced environment, creativity, initiative and a positive attitude to team work. You will have C&G 7061 or 7062 or NVQ equivalent and some previous catering experience is necessary, however, we will support the right candidate with further training and development.
