BH Live are looking for a Marketing Executive to join the team at the Bournemouth International Centre.

This post supports the marketing and development department in the delivery of marketing campaigns, communication and reporting for all activity across BH Live events.  The role also looks at the use of data for audience development

  • To support the delivery of campaigns for shows, conferences, exhibitions, hospitality and membership.
  • Assist with creation and timely delivery of seasonal and production-specific assets/artwork across different media channels.
  • To liaise with show promoters, external clients and BH Live’s central departments in producing copy and images for forthcoming events, ensuring that these adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Support  in delivering the venue’s e-communications strategy, sharing responsibility for developing and maintaining the brand and tone of voice of BH Live.
  • To assist in securing agreed sales targets, being aware of agreed budgets and helping to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • To provide audience and campaign reports using the dashboards and reports set out by the department.

Digital Content Creation

  • To write and produce vibrant digital content for multiple platforms, to engage with target audiences and maximise sales.
  • To work with colleagues to develop a consistent visual style across all digital content, ensuring the BH Live and individual venue identities are easily recognised.
  • To have a core input into video production for the organisation – planning and producing in house video content and liaising with external film companies to deliver content.
  • To assist with producing graphics and updating digital screens to promote shows, conferences, exhibitions hospitality and membership.
  • To work with the Marketing Manager to manage the venue websites, ensuring information is up-to-date and has a consistent tone of voice.

Press and PR

  • To work with the Marketing Manager in planning and hosting press events/nights, after show parties, press calls and photo opportunities.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with the preparation and distribution of press releases including uploading to websites and sharing across online channels
  • Monitor and report on press coverage for BH Live events
  • Develop good working relationships with national and local press and influencers.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of activity and progress

Social Media Management

  • To work with the Marketing Manager to plan and coordinate the social media strategy across all platforms.
  • To develop and maintain a central calendar of content and to create and schedule social media output, enabling effective collaboration between colleagues to plan and coordinate organic and paid activity.
  • To grow the online communities for venues and increase audience engagement, developing active strategies to acquire and retain followers across all channels.
  • Any other duties as required by the line manager commensurate with the post

Salary: £23,100 - £25,785 per annum depending on experience
