Operations Manager

Covering client business in Surrey, Sussex and Kent.

45,000 - 50,000 - Experience dependant

40 hours

Operations Manager requirements:

  • Responsibility and management of company accounts, along with the planning and direction of any marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
  • Take overall charge of the clients' accounts and play an essential team-leading role, delegating projects and monitoring workflow.
  • Build loyalty amongst the client and aim to maintain and grow the business through pro-active and relevant recommendations
  • Provide strong leadership and direction for the client service team ensuring great teamwork and financial performance are consistently achieved
  • To deliver an excellent food offering which is continuously reviewed and challenged to make sure it meets customer expectations
  • Stretch objectives are set within client team and that morale and motivation are excellent, maximising opportunities for feedback and personal development
  • Liaise with operational and support colleagues to ensure their positive input to proposals, presentations and site visits
  • Assist on the development of the Management team across the business through proactive support, encouragement and advice

  • High standard of secondary education
  • Have a successful progressive background in catering, hospitality, retail at the relevant level
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the company and the client.
  • Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and be able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent understanding of report writing and financial management
