What we need in a nutshell

Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager you will support in the day to day running of our award winning Holiday Park while leading the team to deliver outstanding accommodation to our guests. As a key member of our accommodation management team, you will assist in the management of a team of over 60 while delivering the highest of standards in conjunction with the Standard operational procedures and while delivering delight to all our guests.

Sandy Balls is a very diverse day to day operation with everything from swimming pools. play areas, retail outlets, entertainment venues, sports & leisure facilities & loads of indoor and outdoor activities and pretty much open all year round.

A £6 Million + Development of Luxury Lodges & unique Holiday Homes has just been completed (bringing our total fleet to over 250 2-4 bedroom Holiday Homes). This enables us to provide a simply outstanding range & choice of accommodation which is the envy of the Holiday Park sector.

What you’ll be doing

  • Directly supporting in the Housekeeping Manager in the training and development of our Holiday Heroes.
  • Actively looking for opportunities to improve the departments operation and standards.
  • Recruiting and managing the induction of members of the Accommodation Team
  • Allocating accommodation to the accommodation teams
  • Checking, reviewing and maintaining standards
  • Managing the ongoing training and development of accommodation team
  • Keeping an effective audit trail of performance against standards
  • Working with the Stock Controller to ensure all team have the correct resources
  • Ensure compliance with all H&S requirements in line with Company policy
  • To ensure all Hire Fleet inventory is in good order and correct for each type of accommodation
  • To work aligned with the Parks Maintenance Manager to ensure any jobs are completed within a reasonable timeframe

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

  • Management experience in a similar role or background (Holiday Park/Hotel)
  • Have a Leadership style that is open, strong & approachable
  • Be able to plan and organise the workload, training and management of a large team
  • Ability to establish excellent working relationships with all other Department heads and Teams in all areas
  • Be comfortable working to tight deadlines as part of a very busy Team
  • Adaptable, conscientious and very organised
  • Financial understanding of Budgets and expenditure controls
