Data Analyst – Compliance Systems


As Data Analyst – Compliance Systems, you will play an integral role in developing, implementing and maintaining fit for tools to support business programs in the 14 different areas of Compliance.

Working alongside the Compliance Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders you will help coordinate activity in a timely manner, and act as a liaison between multiple functions throughout the business, and to analyse and report on key Compliance data points.

You will need the ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining high standards and be able to engage with key stakeholders across the Asda business, including Walmart’s Systems and Analytics Teams.

What you’ll be responsible for:Engaging with Compliance Subject Matter Experts to scope and review systems and analytical requirements and offer fit for purpose solutionsDeveloping, maintaining and launch Compliance Systems such as ArcherReviewing and implementing fit for purpose analytical reports for a variety of audiences utilising applications such as Alteryx, Cognos and TableauManaging and providing timely responses to colleague and supplier queries relating to Compliance systems or analyticsMonitoring and resolving compliance system queries raised in the Asda Technology Portal, ServiceNowCollating, validating and releasing weekly and monthly reports in line with existing service level agreementsParticipating in Walmart and Asda working groups to define standards, share best practice and identify innovation opportunitiesCoordinating and participating in pre-release user application testingWorking closely with Key Stakeholders, briefing relevant business partners on enhancements to system and analytic toolsMaintaining effective business continuity guidesAbility to challenge ways of working and suggest enhancements to move forward the Compliance programProviding training and support to Asda colleagues using Compliance Systems and Analytical tools
About you:Knowledge of Alterxy is essentialStrong analytical ability and strong track record of working with and manipulating data/numbersGood working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Outlook and WordBe able to work at fast pace, with multiple requirements and prioritise workloadAbility to plan and coordinate projects with business partner engagementCreative mind-set and a desire to challenge ‘what we’ve always done’A proactive approach to “future proof” systems and reportsBeneficial but not essential, knowledge of Tableau, Archer and CognosGood communication skills and understanding your audienceExcellent attention to detailMaintains high standards and deliver with a right first time attitude
