The View Restaurant at the 5* Drimsynie Estate is set in the heart of the stunning Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.  Making the most of our scenic surroundings, The View is not only the flagship restaurant for guests of the Hotel and Estate, but also a destination restaurant for tourists and visitors.   With the View and the family favourite, Rob Roy Restaurant, both in operation, we are looking to expand our talented kitchen brigade with the addition of the following roles:

EXPERIENCED LINE CHEF / CHEF DE PARTIE

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
  • Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
  • Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

COMMIS CHEF

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene
  • Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef
  • Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
  • Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
