Daytime Manager - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Aquavitae, our premium cocktail bar and restaurant based in the heart of Cheltenham is recruiting a new manager to oversee the venue during the day. We are looking for someone energetic, creative, and who leads by example with a hands-on approach.

Your focus is to ensure the smooth running of the venue, generate revenue, and drive the business during the daytime opening hours.

We pride ourselves on the service we provide and the quality of our products. Experience of working as a manager in a similar venue is desired, we will consider other managerial experience; being able to lead, motivate and inspire your team is essential.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Experience of working as a manager or Duty Manager in a similar venue
• Experienced barista
• Customer focused and service driven
• Creative and innovative to drive business development ideas and opportunities
• Strong management and leadership qualities with the ability to train, develop and motivate the team
• Organised, structured, and efficient in all back-office duties and financial reporting
• Understanding and competency in using social media to promote the business and to manage enquiries

About You:

• Experience of managing and motivating staff
• Have a flexible working approach which gives you the ability to deal with changing priorities and work demands
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work using own initiative with a pro-active approach
• Solution focused when faced with issues and challenges
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to work calmly under pressure

Qualifications and Skills

• Management / supervisory experience, minimum 3 years.
• Effective, efficient leadership skills.
• Great decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of alcoholic drinks and cocktails
• Personal License.

Salary: £28k - £34k per annum
