We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join us at Hotels within the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy! 

In this role you'll take the lead of a large kitchen brigade, overseeing the food offering in the worlds first CBeebies Hotel. It's a very busy role, so you'll need all of the skills you've learnt throughout your Chef career.  You'll manage everything from new menu development, stock control, food hygiene, along with the management skills of recruitment, performance management and appraisals.  It's a very rewarding role, but it will throw lots of challenges your way.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Excellent time management skills
• Fantastic communication skills with people of all levels
• An empowering approach to team management
• Experience in a fast paced, busy kitchen environment
• Experience of managing a large brigade
• Experience of managing multi-units at one time

The role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
