Resort Facilities Complience Team Leader - Stoke-on-Trent

We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

We are currently recruiting for a Resort Facilities Compliance Team Leader to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy! 

Scope of Job:

To provide the direction and support to ensure the team maintain a flexible approach to carrying out all engineering general maintenance duties.

Ensure mandatory compliance is achieved for Resort facilities by testing and inspecting of electrical installation and co ordinating contractors and team members .

Key Objectives:

To manage on a day to day basis a team to ensure the safe and efficient availability of plant and equipment and the delivery of exceptional standards of customer service and presentation, whilst ensuring Health & Safety and equipment  and the delivery of exceptional standards of customer service and presentation, whilst ensuring  Health and Safety guidelines are met.

To manage contractors and team members.  To undertake tests, inspections and monitoring to achieve compliance. 

To develop a team to be able to ensure their ability to support the daily operation.  This will involve dealing with breakdowns and routine maintenance, through empowering the teams to apply problem solving skills to diagnose and rectify problems.

To oversee the process of ensuring contractors comply with all relevant legislation, codes of practice and company procedures where applicable.

Shows leadership, development, support and motivation to the team generating an environment of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Ensures regular team meetings are carried out developing an environment of support and co-operation, including regular communication across teams.

The role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
