Training and Development


The Company considers it important to develop the skills and potential of employees whatever the job they do. Responsibility for training lies with all members of the Management in order to maintain, develop and advance the professional standards of the Company and with the employees to continue to seek personal learning development opportunities through observation, reading and questions etc. The specific aims of the Company training commitment, which embraces all levels of Employees, are to;

  • Provide training for all new starters
  • Ensure that training enables all individuals to reach a satisfactory level of performance.
  • Provide the training necessary for those selected for promotion.
  • Provide the opportunities for further education where identified for individual development relating to business needs.

It is a condition of employment that you participate fully in all training that is provided for you.

Promotions and Transfers

There are opportunities for employees to train, develop and gain promotion based on merit, hard work, dedication and suitability of the role in question. Wherever possible, vacancies will be filled by internal candidates either by means of promotion of internal transfer.

Applications for internal transfers should be made to the Group Resourcer or your General Manager. Should this result in an internal, an agreement will be reached about the terms and timing of the transfer which will be confirmed to you.
