The Place

An opportunity to launch a beauty/spa career for recently qualified level 3 qualified Spa Therapists or to take the next step for those with some post college experience. Your career will take a boost with the experience and development you will receive at our truly luxurious Spa.

The 5 Star Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of the very successful Alexander Hotels Group with four top Hotels and two award winning Utopia Spa, has an outstanding environment and range of facilities.

25 spacious treatment rooms, including 3 double treatment rooms, a selection of relaxation lounges. A private Zen garden features a barrel sauna and outdoor hot tub, with 4 additional private cedar hot tubs available for hire.

A tennis court, putting green, bike hire, trekking trail and garden games completes the range of outside facilities.

Inside the pool with monsoon showers and hydrotherapy pool together with a state of the art gym completes what’s on offer.

Our guests enjoy treatments using two quality product ranges; Ila, Ayurvedic inspired and Temple Spa, Mediterranean inspired products.

In addition guest can enjoy finishing touches with API manicures and pedicures and even book an appointment in our Hair Spa.

Our 35 therapists are selected to provide the very best treatments, supported by a Reservations and Spa Reception team and our experienced Spa Managers, Kristina and Beth. As well as excellent facilities we offer training, development and progression opportunities to match. Both our Spa Manager, Kristina, and our Asst Spa Manager, Beth, are a product of that success. Beth joined Spa Reception with some beauty experience and Kristina following her studies and 18mths experienced joined our therapy team.

The Role

As a Spa Therapist you will;

• offer the full range of technical face & body treatments.
• provide excellent customer service from guests welcome and arrival to their departure.
• complete client consultations and ensuring a proper record is made of results.
• ensuring the guest journey through their Spa experience is outstanding.
• explain the treatment to be performed.
• ensure the treatment is offered to the client’s requirements.
• discuss and sell retail products and beauty regime to enhance the guests experience following their treatment.
• offer refreshments in the relaxation area on conclusion of the treatment.
• liaise with Spa Reception to ensure correct billing.

The Requirements

Shifts include; 9.45am – 6.15pm, 10.45am – 7.15pm, 11.45am – 8.15pm

40 hrs over 5 days, with 1 weekend off per month

Minimum requirement of NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy

Completion of a trade test with the Spa Manager prior to recruitment

SALARY & BENEFITS

£21,966.83 OTE including;

• Commission on treatments
• 10% Retail Commission
• Additional Retail Bonus on reaching target
