OPERATIONAL CAMPAIGNER

Primary Location: Chamberlayne Leisure Centre, Southampton, Active Nation, Southampton.
Salary: £18,000 Per Annum (Plus employee benefits)
Closing Date: 22nd July 2018

As a charity on a mission to persuade the nation to be more active, all of our roles come with the title of Campaigner assigned to them. We are on the hunt for a new Operational Campaigner to join our team in Southampton. Located at Chamberlayne Leisure Centre, this exciting role will require the successful candidate to deliver the following functions:

Detailed outputs:

  • Increased Participation
    • When your venue has achieved the agreed annual targets for increasing participation in Exercise and Physical Activity.
  • Operational Performance
    • Operate all procedures as stated at venue (opening & closing procedures along with the Daily Operations Check Sheet)
    • Ongoing monitoring (proactive and reactive of the venue to ensure adherence to brand standards for management of the Supporter Experience.)
    • Take Responsibility for security of the building and its contents.
    • Walk the Floor multiple times throughout the shift.
    • Responsible for Work Asset Management and completion of works outstanding.
    • Responsible for Health & Safety – Compliance with the Venue Procedures at all times.
    • To ensure building cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level.
    • Assist in the setting up and taking down of activities within the venue programme.
    • Provision of First Aid at venue whilst on shift, and hold a current FAAW qualification.
    • When required, be the lead contact in the event of serious Incidents and emergencies.
    • When required be responsible for the Front of House Operations
    • Hold a Level 2 Fitness Instruction Qualification and when required deliver 1-2-1 Fitness Appointments and Supervised Planned Sessions (YFA)
    • Contribute to achieving the Annual Net Promoter Survey target
  • Commercial Performance
    • When Required assist venue in delivery of Commercial Performance

You will be required to work a variety of early shifts, late shifts and weekends. Therefore, flexibility to be able to access the venue and work on a rotational shift pattern is key.
