Staff case studies

Taylar

Taylar joined Active Luton from school as a business administration apprentice at our head office.  She then moved to work on the busy reception at Inspire: Luton Sports Village and is currently completing a Level 1 swimming teacher training course which she is thoroughly enjoying.

 

Wendy

Wendy has been with Active Luton and its predecessors for over 20 years. She’s worked on reception, in the crèche, on event support and even as a mini-nastics coach with pre-school children.  Her latest challenge is training as a swimming teacher which she never thought she could do, but it’s her favourite job yet!

Connor

Connor joined Active Luton as a catering apprentice in our busy catering and events team.  He now works full-time as a catering assistant.

Tom

Tom has worked as an Activity Assistant, on reception and as an assistant swimming teacher.  He’s now a Team Leader at Inspire, our busiest centre, and thoroughly enjoys the new challenges that every day brings.
