Apprenticeship: Activity Leadership

Award: NVQ in Activity Leadership Level 2

Duration: 12 months

The Activity Leadership Apprenticeship is a brilliant way to learn about working in a sports environment both in a centre and in the community

As an Apprentice you will receive full on the job training and mentoring. In addition, you will work towards qualifications which includes an NVQ Level 2, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills in Maths and English, Level 1

This exciting role will provide you with a thorough grounding in Activity Leadership, sports and community development and will include working in all aspects of the business.

The course will include:

• Assisting in the delivery of targeted sporting activity
• Setting up and taking down of equipment
• Engaging with young people
• Working with partner organisations and schools
• Having your own individual area of responsibility
