Active Luton is much more than just sport. Its teams include Active Education which provides training and support to help schools deliver high quality physical education in primary schools and runs Dell Farm education centre at Whipsnade.
Our Active Training and Development team is a highly respected training provider accredited for professional training by Ofqual, the Amateur Swimming Association, the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards, The Royal Lifesaving Society UK (RLSS), Luton Adult Learning and The Prince’s Trust. We also run a wide variety of Modern Apprentice schemes in partnership with Luton Adult Learning and other education providers.
Our Outreach and Community teams and Health and Wellbeing teams work at the heart of the community to provide everyone with accessible and affordable opportunities to get active and run exercise and rehabilitation programmes for people with disabilities and long-term conditions including cancer, people recovering from a stroke and children with cystic fibrosis among many others.
There’s a wealth of opportunities at Active Luton!
