£8.21 per hour

Summer Holidays 29^th July – 30^th August 

6 Positions - various hours available

We’re looking for strong team players with good communication and customer service skills to join our team of Leisure Assistants.  You should be able to work on your own initiative with a flexible approach to a busy and varied working environment.  Our Leisure Centre prides itself on delivering a high level of customer service to our visitors each week.

This is fantastic opportunity to join the team! We’ll need you to;

·         Lifeguard (you must be qualified or prepared to undertake NPLQ training)

·         Maintain excellent cleanliness standards

·         Help with equipment set ups and set downs

You will require a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).  Those applying without this qualification will have the opportunity to undertake full training and would need to attend a Course at Newmarket leisure centre.  The qualification requires you be able to jump/dive into deep water, tread water for 30 seconds, surface dive to the deepest part of the pool (2m), Swim 100m continuously on front and back, Swim 50m in less than 60 seconds as well as climb out of the pool unaided.
