Engage is our unique induction programme. The first days of your journey with Dorchester Collection will be hosted by your learning & development team. You will meet your general manager and lots of other team members, and will learn about the history of your hotel with a detailed tour of all the rooms, public areas and the all-important back-of-house areas. Engage is the very start of our employee engagement journey, where you will learn our mission and values and all about our iconic collection of hotels, as well as completing any necessary admin to make sure you are comfortable and prepared to begin in your department.
During the first three months of life at Dorchester Collection you will be introduced to our exacting standards through a series of core skills learning sessions. You will learn how to deliver the ultimate guest service, advanced communication skills and how to recover the service when things go wrong. You will also be introduced to our personal development process where you will be able to receive detailed two-way feedback on your performance.
