Hours: 16 hours per week

Location: Downham Health & Leisure Centre

Job Role

We are currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor who is enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about fitness and exercise.  Responsible for the daily operation of the gym, you would deliver excellent service and maintain a motivating, clean and safe environment. An important part of your role will be working on the gym floor, carrying out inductions, programme reviews and building a friendly rapport with all customers. As a team player, you’ll work alongside other employees to maintain the regulations of health and safety and sustain exceptional cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate will be a NVQ level 2 qualified fitness instructor, target driven, have good communication and motivational skills, as well as a good technical ability. Other qualifications for group exercise classes, indoor cycling or functional training would be an advantage.
