About your role

Due to the successful opening of the new £20m Harpenden Leisure centre, 1life are now looking for talented team members to support this continued positive growth. 

Are you a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and high operational standards? If so, 1life are looking to recruit a Customer Experience Manager to start with us immediately.

This head of department role role will support the General Manager and will be accountable for delivering world class service standards.  The key areas of accountability will be within: Reception, customer journey and the membership administration function. The CEM role will also be focused on supporting the wider team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the Centre are customer centric at all times.  

The successful applicant will be aligned and will deliver the process and procedures within 1Life’s QMS to ensure the building is open, safe, and clean, equipment working and the staff are friendly. The right individual will take a hands-on approach to service delivery and be able to work under their own initiative to improve all areas of the customer journey.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold customer service qualifications with direct experience is a similar role.  The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of driving commercial excellence through customer service.  Qualifications and experience in delivering customer service training and administration would also be advantageous.
