About Us
We are looking for a Commi Chef to join the team at The Swan, a 16th century coaching inn, set in the heart of the historic village of Tarporley, Cheshire. This 16-bedroom hotel with over 400 years of history and charm is about to undergo a major refurbishment and on reopening will serve a premium seasonal menu including daily specials, from ingredients sourced locally, as well as offering some of the best guest ales in Britain. The Swan is one of 6 businesses owned by 16 Hospitality, an expanding independent operator based in the North West, with a passion for people and providing guests with exceptional service.
The Role: Commi Chef
As a Commi Chef you will provide support to the chefs with the day to day running of the kitchen, to ensure the highest standard of food is going out to our guests. As a Commi chef you will work to ensure the kitchen meets all hygiene, health & safety and food safety compliance standards. You will enjoy a busy, hands on role where you have the opportunity to work with an experienced Head Chef, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, in a supportive team environment.

- Some experience of working in a kitchen

- Strict adherence to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, strong work ethic and hunger to learn
