About the role:

As Maintenance Manager at 11 Cadogan Gardens Hotel - the only Relais and Chateaux property in London -, you are the reason  our Guests keep coming back for more. Our Teams work as one to impress our Guests, creating unforgettable experiences in Iconic Properties.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will be a natural leader able to deal with the pressure of running a constant maintenance schedule in 11 Cadogan Gardens Hotel, effectively and pro-actively maintaining the high standards of maintenance within the grounds of the property and all of its facilities.

You will be confident in running maintenance budgets and prioritizing work schedules according to the business needs and occupancy levels, understanding the London Hotel market requirements, showing flexibility, being able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice, however ensuring that all priority maintenance jobs are completed.

A health and Safety savyy, you will undertake the responsibility of the Hotel's Compliance under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Previous experience in managing a Hotel Maintenance Opertaion is an advantage

Below are some of the duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager at 11 Cadogan Gardens:

  • To be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures, ensuring all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, alter to meet these requirements if achievable and if not, report any faults to the General Manager for approval to action.
  • To liaise with the General Manager on a regular basis deciding on the priorities of jobs, to assist smooth running of the department and also communicating any potential problems arising.
  • Be able to develop and present a viable, effective and preventative maintenance business plan.
  • To be respectful and effectively manage the maintenance team in personal and professional development including rotas, holiday requests, appraisals and training and development.
  • To liaise with contractors raising purchase orders as required, being able to multitask and deal with several different projects at one given time.
