We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Administrator to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy!

In this role you'll support the Employee Relations Manager and Employee Relations Assistant in acting as the first point of contact on all employee relations issues for specific department areas.  You'll ensure that all customers visiting and contacting the HR office are dealt with in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.  You'll assist in producing letters, reports and payroll.  You'll also assist with departmental tasks such as filing, answering telephones etc.  You'll produce letters associated with investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and capability situations, as well as communicating to employees as they go through the maternity/paternity/adoption process, as well as co-ordinating sickness and absence reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity as an entry level for a career in HR, in a very unique environment.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent administration skills, preferably in a fast-paced open office environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, and the ability to learn computer programmes quickly
  • Experience in a HR environment would be advantageous

The role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
