The General Manager role is vital for the success of this company both in making the brand come to life through offering an exceptional service to your guests and also in running the site efficiently and profitably. The General Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the site and its staff and is accountable for the overall performance of the site. You will have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organising and directing all services including front of house, retail, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.
The General Manager will take a strategic overview and plan ahead to maximise profits and will also set the example to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets a variety of differing guest’s needs and expectations from an iconic visitor attraction and venue.
There are plans to develop the site in the future with the accommodation side and the GM would be expected to be involved in this.
