General Manager – Soccer Centre – New Opening

Location: Pomona

Salary: From $65,000 to $90,000 per annum depending on experience

Our British based client is one of the best and fastest growing sports centres in the UK and they are now expanding into the American Market. With two current locations in LA and many more to come! It’s an exciting time to get on board with this established and stable company.

We are looking for experienced and sales focused managers who have a genuine love for sports. You will be a commercially minded assistant manager and have operational and business development experience.

The job is fun, exciting and two days will never be the same! You will be responsible for the performance of your branch and will be a key player in the day to day operations, therefore strict confidence and initiative is key.

General Manager is responsible for producing sales and marketing plans to promote and maximise profits at their individual centres. General Managers also ensure each team member is fully trained to deliver both sales and customer service and appreciates this is integral for the success of the centre. You will plan, develop, motivate, organise and control the activities and resources of your branch team to ensure the success of the centre.

Successful managers will understand that engagement is a fundamental part of their role and is key to understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations.

You will also be focused and commercially driven to meet and exceed your Centre’s income targets and KPI’s.

General Managers have a unique role that requires the following skill set:

  • People management skills – Manage, motivate and lead a team of people
  • Innovation skills – creative ways to engage with customers using social media and attract new business
  • Interpersonal skills - building rapport with customers and team captains
  • Organization skills - ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.
