Are you interested in working as a recreation assistant/lifeguard at Walnuts Leisure Centre but do not want to commit to working regular shifts? If so, we would like to hear from you!
You will need to hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and a swimming skills test will be conducted prior to interview. A First Aid qualification is also desirable but not essential.
Within this role you will play a key part to ensure the comfort and safety of all users of the facility and to provide excellent customer care. You will be working as part of a team responsible for the pool, cleaning and general maintenance of equipment.
You will be working as part of a team responsible for lifeguarding the pool, cleaning and general maintenance of equipment so you will also need to have the following qualities:
Able to clean our facility to an excellent standard
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Be motivated to serve the public
Have good verbal and written communication skills
These posts are subject to satisfactory DBS clearance, two satisfactory references, proof of attainment of qualifications, evidence of your right to work in the UK and satisfactory health clearance.
