Head Chef - Harrogate
Location: Harrogate North Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
Head Chef required for this superb high volume country hotel and restaurant.
As Head Chef you will be reporting to the Executive Chef on a daily basis assuming responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen, organising juniors and ensuring all prep is completed in time for service; taking overall responsibility on his Days off.
The Exec chef is very hands on taking part in every service, and is looking for a Head Chef to also get fully stuck in getting behind the team, encouraging and motivating the team.
Ideal Applicants need to have a proven background in 3 or 4 Star Hotels as a Head Chef and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above and be fully aware of HACCAP, CoSHH ensuring daily reports are maintained and monitored; alongside general kitchen management including wastage controls etc ensure high EHO ratings.
This may be a good opportunity for a Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef appointment.
This is a live out position so may suit anyone living in the Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Ripon, Leeds and possibly Skipton areas with their own transport.
