Role Expectations – stuff to get excited about

As a successful Peach Assistant/Deputy Manager, you’re at a distinct advantage by having experience in similar Gastro Pubs or quality, food led restaurants or brasseries. You’ll have the ability to pass on your passion for fresh food to Guests and team, and be looking for the next adventure in your hospitality career. You’ll be able to motivate and drive a team to enhance our Guests expectations every day. You’ll be enthusiastic, outgoing and driven, cheeky and fun, with an eye for detail and the ability to sprinkle fairy dust over every service.

What you will need to deliver (and we’ll make sure you have what you need to be great at it):

  • A thirst for and knowledge and passion for quality food and drink with the ability to challenge the chefs on consistency
  • Genuine love of spending time with your guests & going the extra mile
  • Deliver the service like a dinner party every day
  • Opening and closing, cash up procedures and security
  • Able to hold a great start of shift briefing and engage your team daily
  • Ability to check on standards and deal with non-performance
  • Manage team rotas, spot weaknesses and manage wage costs
  • Attend Management meetings
  • Name 50 regular guests and have exceptional hosting skills
  • Basic understanding of KPI’s and identify key numbers in order to convert turnover into profit
