South Oxhey – The Centre and Sir James Altham Pool
39 Hours per Week - Salary £21,000 pa
As assistant to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the management of various areas of the centre, including Fitness Sales, Swim School, and General Operations.
This key role will include responsibility for adult and children’s activities, health and safety, quality systems, maintenance management, customer services and standards. The role will include additional responsibilities as required by the General Manager in line with your skills, experience and the needs of the business.
Your role will include financial and customer service driven targets and you will be expected to maximise profit across your areas of responsibility as well as hit customer service related key performance indicators.
A strong facility and people management background is essential, as is the need for excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate your teams to achieve a consistently excellent level of customer service.
You will have at least two years previous management experience in a leisure or customer service environment, and knowledge and experience of the requirements of quality-assured systems including ISO 14001, Quest and health and safety legislation.
This post includes some shifts and weekend working.
